We choose the place by what your team needs.

On a river, the team has to paddle in sync or it goes nowhere. In a forest, people talk more openly. In a cave, titles stop mattering. A canyon shows how the team handles effort and pressure. On a mountain, leaders get room to see the bigger picture. First we agree on the goal, then we choose the place.

Two people in a Dopamine Adventure kayak on the Vrbas at sunset

River – collaboration

On the water, position in the company means nothing. Two people in the same kayak have to align before the first obstacle; it quickly shows who takes the initiative, who coordinates, who withdraws. For teams that don’t know each other well enough or work on autopilot: a shared success on the water is the first step towards trust.

Where: Una – clear, calm water, suitable for participants with no experience. The Vrbas – fifteen minutes from Banja Luka, including the dajak, the traditional Banja Luka boat that demands balance and patience.

Team on a forest trail

Forest – conversation

A slower pace, a longer and more open conversation: an hour’s walk, a shared meal, an evening circle by the fire. We go into the forest on the second day, when participants are connected and ready for the conversation that keeps getting postponed in the office.

Where: Kozara, with Mrakovica and a view over Krajina. Perućica in Sutjeska, one of the last primeval forests in Europe, for teams that want more demanding terrain.

A group in helmets beneath a huge stalagmite in a cave

Cave – equality

Underground the conditions are the same for everyone, whatever the title. You see who leads when nobody is watching, who waits for the slower ones, who calms the group. Two hours in a cave give a clearer picture of roles in the team than a day of workshops about them.

Where: the caves of Krajina, only with licensed guides and to a depth that suits the group.

Ridge above the canyon

Canyon – the team’s pace

One direction and one pace – the pace of the slowest. Nobody races ahead and nobody is left alone. You see who takes on someone else’s load without being asked, and who is first to notice that someone is struggling. For teams in which a few people carry most of the work.

Where: the Vrbas canyon, minutes from the city. A via ferrata above the Bay of Kotor for the more demanding version, with a licensed operator.

Team on a mountain trail

Mountain – the bigger picture

The ascent tires the body and clears the mind. From above you see direction and priorities, not just the weekly tasks. That is why we use the mountain for the conversation about strategy and vision – and for the climax of the strategic retreat, when leadership and team announce their decisions and commitments to each other.

Where: Zmijanje and Manjača, the plateau above Banja Luka. Durmitor, with the Black Lake. Maglić, the highest peak in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for expeditions where conditions in the field set the schedule. Klekovača, in the heart of Krajina. Orjen, above the Bay of Kotor.

Illuminated dajak boats on the Vrbas at night, Banja Luka

City – the evening

The day doesn’t end when the programme does. Banja Luka is one of the few cities where the evening starts on the river: a dajak ride on the Vrbas at dusk, the bridge lights on the water, then dinner and a night out in a city that knows how to host. After a demanding day people relax, the conversation gets easier and the team laughs together for the first time – the moment that stays longer than any workshop.

Where: Vrbas and the centre of Banja Luka – Kastel fortress, Gospodska street, restaurants by the river. For programmes by the sea: Perast and Kotor in the evening.

View from a kayak of Arza fortress, Bay of Kotor

The sea. A reward at the end of the programme, not a method. In the Bay of Kotor, a kayak to Perast and dinner by the water come after the canyon and the summit.
